How do I transfer my license from one computer to another?

To transfer a license from one computer to another, you need to deactivate it on the first computer before it can be activated on the second.

To deactivate please follow the steps below:

[Deactivation for Outlook addins in Outlook 2013/2010]
* Start Microsoft Outlook and go to your Inbox
* Click on More on the QuickFile ribbon on the main Outlook screen -> click About QuickFile
* Click on Activate/Deactivate button
* Click on the blue link "Deactivate software on this computer" to deactivate

[Deactivation for Outlook addins in Outlook 2007/2003/2002/2000]
* Start Microsoft Outlook and go to your Inbox
* Go to Tools menu -> select Standss -> select QuickFile -> click About QuickFile
* Click on Activate/Deactivate button
* Click on the blue link "Deactivate software on this computer" to deactivate

You will now be able to install the software on another computer and activate it again using the same unlock code.
Send us the de-activation code if you have any other requests.

I would make this something that is done from your website vs. within client computer. Windows 8 refresh uninstalls all desktop apps making it impossible to de-activate yours software if you forgot...

Hello,

My computer crashed and was replaced by tech support. I can't follow this procedure to disable QuickFile on my old laptop. How can I proceed to activate it on the new one ?

Thanks !

Stéphane
