Is there any way to use fax4word in conjunction with my pc's dialing rules?

Yes, there is.
First set up your fax document and contacts.
Click on 'Fax Merge' on the toolbar.
A screen will be displayed.

In the space beside 'To access an outside line for calls, dial' enter your dialing number.
