How can the attempts that are made before the system gives up faxing be changed?

To change the number of attempts that are made before the system gives up faxing, do the following:
Go to 'Fax Console' (Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Communications > Fax > Fax Console).
Click 'Tools' > 'Fax Printer Configuration'.
Click the 'Devices' Tab.
Select your modem from the list.
Click 'Properties'.
Click 'Send' Tab. There is a space to change the number of retries. Enter any number that you want.
Click 'OK'.
