Summary of Error
 
When installing any of the Standss Outlook Addins via the Windows Launcher users may face the following error:
 
 
 
Description
 
When trying to install the “.msi” installer users may not have adequate permission to their Temp Windows folders.
 
Solution/Workaround
 
Please follow the steps outlined below to solve this:
 
1. Open the command prompt
 
a. Press on the Start Menu
b. Type “cmd”
c. Make sure to run the command prompt as an Administrator
 
2. Type the following command to install the software:
 
msiexec /i “path_to_msi”
 
Note that “path_to_msi” will be the location of your downloaded .msi file.

After running the following command, you should find that the software installs correctly.
