Why do I receive an error stating that QuickFile ribbon may not be operating correctly?

This error occurs when QuickFile detects that there is a problem in one of your computers registry keys. This registry key may be created or updated when you have conflicting versions of Skype and Microsoft Office being installed on the same computer which is now causing QuickFile's ribbon interface to malfunction.
Please follow the steps below to solve the issue:
  • Close Outlook
  • Click Start, and then click Run.
  • In the Open box, type “regedit”, and then click OK.
  • Delete the “2.8” registry key that is under [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{2DF8D04C-5BFA-101B-BDE5-00AA0044DE52}]. 
  • Once the key is removed, restart Outlook and Office might do a small update.
