Why are my new SendGuard settings not showing up in Outlook immediately?

SendGuard caches settings on Outlook clients for performance, which can take up to 4 hours to update. To force an immediate update and apply new settings right away, you can manually refresh them.

To instantly refresh your SendGuard settings in Outlook, follow these steps:

  1. Open Outlook and create a new email message.
  2. In the email ribbon menu, click on Apps and then select SendGuard365.
  3. From the dropdown menu, click Refresh Settings.

This action will immediately pull the latest configuration from the SendGuard Management Console. You can now send a test email to verify that your updated settings are working correctly.
