Why are new settings not available in Outlook?

SendGuard settings are cached for up to 4 hours on Outlook clients. If you need to immediately test updated settings, follow these steps:

  1. Open a new or existing email compose window in Outlook on the Web (OWA) or the new Outlook desktop app.

  2. From the ribbon, click on Apps, then select SendGuard365.

  3. In the dropdown, click Refresh Settings.

This will pull the latest configuration from the SendGuard Management Console. You can now send a test email to verify that the updated settings are applied.
