How can I prevent SendGuard from triggering false warnings on text in my email signature or disclaimer?

To avoid false warnings about missing attachments that are triggered by keywords in your email signature or disclaimer, you can configure SendGuard to ignore a specific block of text.
Follow these steps to set up text ignore rules in the SendGuard Outlook add-in:
  1. In Microsoft Outlook, click on the Standss Outlook Add-ins tab.
  2. Select SendGuard and then click Settings.
  3. In the Settings window, navigate to the Attachment/Subject guard tab.
  4. Click on the link at the bottom labeled Advanced Settings (Avoid false triggers of Attachment Guard).
  5. On the Advanced Settings screen, locate the Ignore text section at the top.
  6. Select the checkbox for Ignore word if within.
  7. In the text box labeled Enter the full text of the signature, paste the entire content of your email signature or disclaimer.
  8. Click OK to save the settings.
Once configured, SendGuard will skip attachment checks for any keywords found within the specified text block, preventing false warnings.
