What should I do if SendGuard says “Registration Unsuccessful” when I enter my name and unlock code?

If you see a “Registration Unsuccessful” message, it usually means the unlock code doesn’t match the software version you installed or the details were entered incorrectly.
The most common cause is using an unlock code meant for a different version of SendGuard. Make sure you have the correct version installed:
  1. Close Outlook and Word completely.
  2. Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and end any OUTLOOK.EXE or WINWORD.EXE processes.
  3. Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features (or Add/Remove Programs) and uninstall the current SendGuard version.
  4. Download the correct version from your dedicated link: http://www.standss.com/sendguard/download_process.asp
  5. Install it, then open Outlook and enter your registration details.
Registration can also fail if the name or unlock code is mistyped. Type both exactly as shown in your confirmation email, paying attention to upper/lower case and avoiding extra spaces. For numbers, use the top number row instead of the numeric keypad.
If you still can’t register after these steps, email support@standss.com for further help.
