When I enter the name and the unlock code SendGuard tells me Registration Unsuccessful. What do I do?

Registration can fail for a few common reasons, most often because the unlock code is for a different software version or due to a simple typo in the entered details. This guide will help you troubleshoot the issue.
The two most common causes and their solutions are below.
Reason 1: Unlock Code is for the Wrong Software Version
Your unlock code is specific to a version of SendGuard. If you have installed the wrong version (e.g., a trial version instead of the full version), the code will not work.
To fix this:
  1. Completely close Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  2. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), go to the Processes tab, and end any processes named OUTLOOK.EXE or WINWORD.EXE.
  3. Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features (or Add or Remove Programs).
  4. Uninstall the current version of SendGuard.
  5. Download the correct software from your dedicated link: http://www.addins4outlook.com/sendguard/download_process.asp
  6. Install the new software by double-clicking the downloaded file and following the on-screen instructions.
  7. Open Outlook. The registration screen will appear. Enter your details to complete registration.
Reason 2: Incorrect Name or Unlock Code Entered
The unlock code is case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as provided.
To fix this:
  • Carefully type the Registered Name and Unlock Code exactly as they appear in your confirmation email. Do not copy and paste, as this can sometimes include hidden characters.
  • Avoid adding any extra spaces at the beginning or end.
  • For codes containing numbers, use the number keys at the top of your keyboard instead of the number pad on the side, as they can sometimes be interpreted differently.
