Does SendGuard allow custom rules to check emails for specific conditions or ask questions before sending an email?

Yes. The DLP feature allows the admin to set specific conditions for outgoing emails. When an email meets those conditions, SendGuard prompts the user to review the message before it sends.

To set up custom rules, follow these steps:
Log in to the SendGuard Management Console: Home - Standss SendGuard Management Console

  1. Edit M365 Settings and scroll down to the Data Loss Prevention section

An example of a custom rule prompt:

An administrator wanted to alert users before they sent an email so the team filed each ticket correctly. They set up a custom rule to detect the ticket number in the email body. When the rule triggers, the user gets a prompt asking them to confirm. If the user wants to proceed, they type Send and the email goes out.
