Why do we see an error when we try to check our SendGuard license in OWA using Safari?

This error is often related to privacy settings within Safari that block certain cross-site tracking elements necessary for the license verification process.

A white background with black textAI-generated content may be incorrect.

Cause:
Safari’s default privacy settings may prevent SendGuard from accessing certain resources needed to verify the license, leading to errors during the process. Specifically, the “Prevent cross-site tracking” feature in Safari’s privacy settings can interfere with the communication between SendGuard and the license verification server.

Solution:
To resolve this issue, you will need to adjust Safari’s privacy settings to allow cross-site tracking. Follow the steps below:
  1. Open Safari.
  2. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, click on Safari, then select Settings (or Preferences on older versions).
  3. In the settings window, click on the Privacy tab.
  4. Uncheck the option that says Prevent cross-site tracking.
  5. Close the settings window and try checking the license again in SendGuard.
Note: Disabling this option may affect other websites' tracking behaviors, but it is necessary for SendGuard’s license verification process.
If the issue persists after following these steps, please contact support for further assistance.
