How do I clear the cache in Outlook for Mobile?

If Outlook Mobile is experiencing performance or synchronization issues, clearing the app cache may help.


Android

  1. Open Settings on your device.
  2. Select Apps > Outlook.
  3. Tap Storage.
  4. Select Clear Cache.

iPhone / iPad (iOS)

iOS does not provide a dedicated option to clear an app's cache. To refresh Outlook data:

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Go to Settings >General > Account.
  3. Select the affected mailbox Microsoft 365 Account from the Accounts List
  4. Select Reset Account.
