What to Expect When Sending Emails with SendGuard

Introduction

This KB article explains the process for sending emails after SendGuard is installed.
You will create and send emails exactly the same way as you have always done. The only difference is that you may be prompted to confirm receipeints, attachments or content.
SendGuard helps  you protect you from accidentally sending emails with sensitive information to the wrong recipients.

How to Send Emails

  1. Compose or reply to your email as normal.
  2. Click Send. The SendGuard prompt may appear (depending on settings and the recipients, attachments and contents)
       

  1. Click Open TaskPane. SendGuard will display the recipieints and attachments in a Task Pane beside the email.


  1. Review and tick the recipients and attachments if they are correct. If they are not correct, close the Task Pane to make changes to the email.
  2. Click the Send button on the task pane to send the email

It protects you from accidentally sending emails to unintended recipients. These mistakes are easy to make but can have a major consequence if the information sent was sensitive, confidential or inappropriate.
