Give Non-Admin Users Access to SendGuard Management Console

By default, the SendGuard Management Console can be accessed by users with one of the following Microsoft 365 administrator roles:
  • Global Administrator
  • Cloud Application Administrator
  • Application Administrator
A Global Administrator can also allow non-admin users to manage SendGuard by assigning them access to the SendGuard Management Console in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
Assign a User to the SendGuard Management Console
A Global Administrator can assign access to a user by following these steps:
  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Azure portal using your Microsoft 365 administrator account.
  2. Go to Enterprise applications.
  3. Search for SendGuard Licenses Management Console
  4. Select the application, then go to Manage > Users and groups.
  5. Click Add user/group.
  6. Select the user or users who should be allowed to manage SendGuard Management console  and complete the assignment.
  1. Once the user has been assigned, ask them to sign in to the SendGuard Management Console:
The user should select Microsoft (work or school) when signing in.
After the assignment is completed, the user can manage SendGuard through the Management Console without requiring a Microsoft 365 administrator role.
Remove a User's Access
If a user should no longer manage the SendGuard subscription, you can remove their access from the same location:
  1. Go to Enterprise applications in the Azure portal.
  2. Search for SendGuard Licenses Management Console.
  3. Go to Manage > Users and groups.
  4. Select the user.
  5. Remove the user's assignment.
The user will no longer be able to access the SendGuard Management Console through the assigned application.
Note: A Microsoft 365 Global Administrator is required to assign or remove users from the SendGuard Management Console.
