How to Use SendGuard COM Add-in with Google Workspace in Outlook?

SendGuard365 > 03. Com Add-in
Google Workspace is supported with the SendGuard COM Add-in only. It is not supported with the SendGuard 365 version.
  
1) Contact Standss for the Customized MSI

Contact Standss to request the required customized MSI for your SendGuard licenses. Do not use a standard SendGuard MSI if you are setting up SendGuard for Google Workspace.
 
2) Configure the SendGuard Registry Key

  1. In the SendGuard Console, go to SendGuard COM Add-in Settings.
  2. Under Advanced Settings, click Configure Registry Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Get Default Email Address from Root Folder Name (_useEmailAddressRootFolderName).
  4. Set the value to True, then click OK and save your settings.
 
This setting allows SendGuard to correctly identify and work with the Google Workspace mailbox structure in Outlook.
 
3) Verify the Outlook Profile

The Google Workspace account must be the default email account and default data file in the Outlook profile.
 
In Outlook, verify that:
 
  1. The Google Workspace account is set as the default email account.
  2. The Google Workspace data file is set as the default data file.
 
This is required for SendGuard to correctly work with the Google Workspace mailbox.
